SAN DIEGO, (Dec. 20, 2011): enXco Service Corporation (eSC), an EDF Renouvelables Company, has signed a multi-year Operation and Maintenance Agreement with Ridgeline Energy, LLC to provide operations and maintenance services for the 79.86 megawatt Rockland Wind Farm.
Rockland Wind Farm, located near American Falls in Power County, Idaho, is a joint development venture between Ridgeline Energy and Diamond Generating Corporation. Consisting of 44 Vestas V100 – 1.815 MW turbines, the project will generate clean energy for approximately 37,000 homes when it becomes fully operational later this month. Idaho Power will purchase the power under a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
Under the terms of the O&M Agreement, eSC will provide complete O&M for the balance of plant, project oversight, and 24/7 remote monitoring from its NERC compliant Operations Control Center. Previously, eSC’s Special Services Team provided support during the construction and commissioning of the project under a short-term service agreement.
