SAN DIEGO, (Dec. 6, 2011): enXco Service Corporation (eSC), an EDF Renouvelables Company, has signed a multiyear agreement with MidAmerican Energy Company to provide operations and maintenance services for 477 megawatts of wind-powered generating capacity.
At the conclusion of a competitive tender process, eSC was chosen by MidAmerican Energy to provide the services for four wind projects located in Iowa, including project oversight and reporting and ongoing remote monitoring and fault resets from its Operations Control Center in Minnesota.
The four projects, each utilizing GE 1.5-MW SLE wind turbines are, Carroll Wind Farm (150 MW); Charles City Wind Farm (75 MW); Victory Wind Farm (99 MW); and Walnut Wind Farm (153 MW).
