SAN DIEGO, (July 21, 2011): enXco Service Corporation (eSC), an EDF Renouvelables Company (PARIS: EEN), has signed an O&M Agreement with Macho Springs Power I, LLC to provide operations and maintenance services for the 50 MW Macho Springs Wind Project.
Macho Springs Wind Project, owned by Element Power, is located in Luna County, New Mexico. Construction on the project, which consists of 28 Vestas V100-1.8 MW turbines, began in January and is expected to be completed in August.
Under the terms of the O&M Agreement, eSC will provide on-site O&M for the balance of plant, project oversight, and 24/7 remote monitoring from its NERC compliant Operations Control Center during the period of the turbine warranty. Post warranty, eSC will provide complete O&M services to the entire project.
