ESCONDIDO, CA. (September 21, 2009): enXco Service Corporation (eSC), an EDF Renouvelables Company (Paris: EEN), has signed an Operations and Maintenance Agreement with Chevron Global Power Company, a division of Chevron U.S.A. Inc. for the 16.5 megawatt Casper Wind Power Project located in Natrona County, Wyoming.
Construction of the project, consisting of 11 GE 1.5 MW SLE turbines commenced in June 2009, with an anticipated completion date in the fourth quarter 2009. enXco Service Corporation will provide commissioning assistance during construction, on-site O&M for the turbines and the balance of plant for the turbines during the first five years of operations. In addition to operation and maintenance services provided at the site, 24/7 remote monitoring of the wind turbines will be provided from enXco Service Corp’s Operations Control Center located near Chandler, Minnesota.
