Montreal, Quebec – January 25, 2012 – enXco Service Canada Inc., an EDF Energies Nouvelles Company, has signed a multiyear agreement with Suncor Energy and Teck Resources Limited to provide operations and maintenance (O&M) services for the Wintering Hills Wind Power Project.
Wintering Hills, an 88 megawatt (MW) wind project located near Drumheller, Albertais comprised of 55 General Electric (GE) 1.6-MW wind turbines. The project will generate clean energy for approximately 35,000 homes.
Under the terms of the O&M Agreement, enXco Service Canada Inc., will provide complete O&M for the 55 wind turbines and the balance of plant, project oversight, and 24/7 remote monitoring from its NERC compliant Operations Control Center.
