Montreal, Quebec – Apr. 24, 2012 – enXco Service Canada Inc., an EDF Energies Nouvelles Company, has signed an agreement with Cartier Wind Energy Inc. to provide remote monitoring services for the 109.5 megawatt Baie-des-Sables Wind Farm located in Baie-des-Sables, Quebec.
Consisting of 73 GE 1.5-MW SLE wind turbines, the project was commissioned in November 2006 and generates clean energy for approximately 21,000 homes. enXco’s Operations Control Center (OCC) will allow Cartier to have permanent monitoring of the Baie-des-Sables site and perform remote resets or dispatch Cartier’s wind technicians as required.

enXco’s OCC provides remote monitoring services to 46 wind projects representing 2,798 wind turbines and five solar projects for a total of 4,675 MW under contract.
