The dialogue established between EDF Renewables, the municipalities and MRCs, the Conseil régional de l’environnement de Chaudière-Appalaches (CRECA) and local organizations proved extremely productive allowing for all potential community concerns to be recognized and successfully evaluated. All stakeholders worked cooperatively dedicating significant time, energy and attention. Once again, it clearly demonstrates EDF Renewables’ commitment to develop our projects through broad and open collaboration,” said Stéphane Boyer, Vice-President-Quebec for EDF Renewables Inc.
With an investment of close to $350 million, the project will create about 200 jobs during the construction phase, and 8 to 10 permanent operation and maintenance jobs.
